• Situate your project within current academic research in your topic area, referring to current issues, limitations and trends, including any supporting literature that justifies the intention and approach of the project. (A comprehensive literature review is not required, approximately 5 key articles would be sufficient)

• Indicate a method for gathering data to address the research problem and accomplishing the project, and briefly explain why this method is valid for your project. Include any necessary background or equipment needed for the project.

• Describe expected outcomes

• Explain the significance of the research and why its contribution would be important
