Question - Select one of the following case studies and model one of its features by constructing a game. State the basic facts and intuition/subject: what feature are you trying to capture and examine and why? Explain and illustrate the game structure (payoffs, setup, uncertainty, rounds, etc) in detail and justify your choices. Link the facts of the case study to the model structure. Solve the game School of Slavonic and East European Studies FINAL  and fully interpret your solution. What conclusions can be drawn from the model about the feature of the case study you are examining? Further guidance: i) A case study contains different aspects and each aspect can be modeled in many different ways – there is not a unique way to model a case study and your model is not meant or expected to capture all the information in the case study. You only need to focus on something specific and construct a game that represents that particular feature. However, some models are more or less relevant, informative, or meaningful. If you want to capture more than two aspects in your model (e.g. form of competition and asymmetric information) you are welcome to do so, but you are not required. ii) Do NOT do any further research on the firms, do NOT cite papers/ news/ reports, and do NOT collect any data. You must use only the information provided in the case study. You can assume anything else (a form of competition, payoffs, external factors, costs, etc) and assign values as long as they do not distort or contradict the information of the case study (e.g. if no cost information is given you can assume anything you want, if you are given direct or indirect information that one company has higher costs, and costs are included in your model, you should take that information into account). iii) Elaborate games modeling more complex cases (e.g. introducing informational asymmetry in a competitive setup) may be awarded more points, but a simple game that is solved correctly is better than a complex game solved incorrectly, or not solved at all. If you are not comfortable with complexities, you can always attempt something simpler. iv) Modelling a single feature does not mean you are required to have only one tree/ table. You can have multiple. You are encouraged to model different variations or sub-cases and explore the case study as much as you like (e.g. compare game structures with and without uncertainty, examine first or second mover advantages)
