Your CEO has asked you to provide an options paper which will outline three potential approaches to managing this situation. Your document should provide potential positive and negative outcomes for each of your proposed approaches.
Item 2: Professional Practice Essay (1500 words)
Critically analyse your “options paper” from Item 1 in the context of theories of the employment relationship and the role and responsibilities of a HR/ER professional. You are required to refer to the content in a minimum of six scholarly references that refer to theoretical and empirical relating to the role of HR/ER managers, unionisation, or legal implications. At least two of these references should be from refereed journal articles that refer to the role of HR/ER professionals.
Further details: Referring to assignment 1, provide a critical analysis of your proposal based in theory and relevant literature. Analyse and explain how the role and responsibilities of a HR/ER professional influence the content of your proposal. In addition to the role and responsibilities of a HR/ER professional, this assignment should consider theoretical perspectives on the employment relationship.
