Part A: 
You will select ONE research paper from the Part A folder (Blackboard ? Assessments ? Assessment 3 “Part A” folder) and write a 2-page critique that begins with a statement of the research aim(s) with the main independent variables and outcome variable(s) and target population clearly noted whilst you cite the article using APA6th referencing style. Your critique will focus on evaluating the overall methods (study design, recruitment, data collection, data analyses, biases and limitations) against the research aim(s). You will also comment on the overall quality (or ‘usability’) of the findings as you justify how you may use the reported findings as a consumer of research products, or how you may put forward recommendations to the research community. You can cite the learning materials if you use them to justify your rationale. 

Note: 

• (i) Completing evaluation of an article not available from the Part A folder will attract a zero mark.
• (ii) Your critique must be typed in Calibri font, size 11, 1.5 spacing (with 0 pt spacing before and after) on a normal margin (2.54cm from the top, left, right and bottom). See page 2 of this document for the *template* where you will replace fonts in blue with your own work, in black fonts. The full reference should appear at the end, but within the page limit, of your 2-page critique. 
• (iii)  Anything that exceeds the page limit will not be marked.
