It is the student’s responsibility to follow all examination/test instructions with respect to working with drop folders. Students must create folders on the D: drive. Prior to the submission of the examination/test materials to the drop folder, the student should check that all relevant computer files appear in the test folder that is being submitted for grading. Upon completion of the examination/test, it is the student’s responsibility to ensure that all computer files to be assessed by the Professor are MOVED to the appropriate drop folder as instructed. On completion of the exam, if a student leaves examination/test materials on the D: drive, a grade of zero (“0”) will be assigned. The student will NOT be given an opportunity to re-write an examination/test as a result of his/her failure to provide the complete file(s) for grading, nor will the Professor search for any incomplete or missing file(s). It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that all examination/test papers and other materials are turned in to the Professor at the end of the examination/test. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in a grade of zero (“0”) for this 
1. Project Selection:
You can choose anyone of the following and follow a new product development and project management process. As discussed in class follow the questions to build your MS Project file and vice versa. Assume there is a market and you have received an executive mandate to move forward.Since this is a take home test and with accessibility to resources, there are increased requirements for the project plan to be developed in MS Project.
Project selection (Selection made for you – please read your email):

• Setup a walk-in clinic and customer service station for billing and payments. Assume you have a building
• Develop and launch a line of lotions or perfumes (men or women or unisex)
• Develop and launch a software app solution – decide on what type of application – can be an existing one too
• Develop and launch a line of clothing – choose which you type you fancy
• Setup a car mechanic shop with customer service station for billing and payments. Assume you have a building.
• Setup a up restaurant and with customer service station for billing and payments. Assume you have a building
• Construct a 3000 square feet house or apartment unit design (120 sqm).
• Setup a grocery shop similar to Hasty Market. Assume you have a building.
• Plan a job fair event
• Plan a wedding
• Plan a catering event for 200 people with 20 different dishes.

Plan a Christmas party
You have a period of 3 months, 6 months or 1 year max to execute the project. Select the appropriate time based on your research for respective project.You are required to do level 4 and assign resources to all activities. 35 tasks is acceptable. Below 35 will not receive decent marks. All tasks need to be specific to the above projects. Generic tasks will not receive full marks. Please refer to Rubric below at the end of test.You can NOT do the same project as group member nor can it be the same as your group project.
