Follow the steps:
Select More Topologies
Select Buck DC- DC
Please note that the power ratings may differ as components are updated by supplier.
Select the “LOSS” tab in the TOOLS section on the left of page.
The “Input and Output Opertaing Conditions” pop up will appear
Select “T1”. The “Magnetic Builder” pop up will appear.
Change the number of turns No to 10 and press ‘done’.
The “Input and Output Opertaing Conditions” pop up will re appear. Note the “Total Losses” value has changed.
Q1 After following the steps above, change the number of turns on T1 to 15 and:
Supply a screen shot of the Magnetic Builder details
Write the TOTAL LOSS value
Write the XFormer LOSS value
Write the Bm value

Q2 After following the steps above, change the number of turns on T1 to 30 and:

Write the TOTAL LOSS value
Write the XFormer LOSS value
Write the Bm value

Q3 After following the steps above, change the number of turns on T1 to 60 and:

Q4 After following the steps above, change the number of turns on T1 to 80 and:

PART 2 – VARIATION OF CAPACITOR
After following steps 1 to 5 as above in part 1;
Select “C4” - The “Component Selector” pop up will appear
Note the value of C4 is 2.2 µF 50 Vdc. C4 can be changed by highlighting and double clicking on the selection.
Press “Done”. The “Input and Output Operating Conditions” pop up will re appear.
12: Record the “Total Losses” value.
Q5 Following the steps above:
Change the number of turns on T1 to 15
Change the C4 to 1.5 µF 50 VDC
Supply a screen shot of the Component Selector details
Write the TOTAL LOSS value
Supply a screenshot of the Input and Output Operating Conditions
Q6 Following the steps above:
Change the C4 to 3.3 µF 50 VDC
