Working in teams, students will develop a comprehensive Organizational Behaviour analysis for a Canadian company of their choice from this list of Canada’s top 100 Employers. With the help of (and direct reference to) the OB concepts learned in this course, the students will critically analyze an OB System and sub-systems utilizing secondary data research (peer-reviewed journals, published case-studies, company websites, google scholar - research articles, videos, newspaper/ magazine articles) to identify problems and recommend constructive improvements.

Remember to not only describe what the organization is doing in each of these areas, but also to analyse how well they are doing in each area, which includes looking at how the competition might be doing. Good analysis considers both the good, the bad and the context when looking at an organization.

Each team can choose OB sub-system topics of their preference from the list of OB research topics below – (select one topic per team member)

The paper will include the following sections (with headings, per APA):

• Title Page
• Executive Summary
• Company History/Background (VERY brief)
• Organizational Vision and Mission (also VERY brief)
• Critical Analysis and industry comparisons of your chosen OB sub-system (as mentioned above), including key findings and at least two thoughtful recommendations referencing our course concepts.
• References · Appendices (if needed)

APA writing conventions should be followed in the report (15-16 pages approx.) with a minimum of six (6) sources referenced and cited including in-text citations (if you are presenting another author’s ideas using your own words or paraphrasing you still must provide the in-text citation of that author), report format and references in APA format.
