Task description

Create a presentation prepared on PowerPoint software to communicate the application of Agile Project Management Processes (PMP) to a case study you develop or select from available sources. 

Assumption/s:  

Assume that you are a member of the Development Team that has been nominated by the Scrum Master to deliver the Sprint Review presentation to the Project Team at the conclusion of the Sprint. 

Conduct: 

• This PowerPoint presentation will include verbal, graphic, and written elements. 

• Your PowerPoint will be no more than 15 slides inclusive of an audio recording of your presentation. 

• Time constraints on the Project Team limit your presentation to no more than 15 minutes. 

• Use the following extract from Morris Ch 8 ‘Reviewing the team’s work  (below) to structure your presentation: 

Facilitating a Successful Review  

You will tell the Story of their Sprint and demonstrate the product. This is a  great opportunity to develop public speaking confidence, as well as pride in your work.  

1. Recap the purpose of the Sprint Review, remind everyone of the time  limit, and encourage constructive feedback  

2. Set the scene, explain the development team's goal for that Sprint, and  set the theme for the demonstrations that are to follow 

3. Compare the work the development team completed with what they  forecast in Sprint Planning, and highlight any events that had an impact  on their planned Capacity 

4. Then, for each item completed in that Sprint: 

• Explain what scenarios it was intended to cover 

• Demonstrate how it meets those scenarios 

• Collect any concerns or ideas for additional work  

5. Show the team's overall progress towards being ready for the Release  (the Release Burn-Up Chart)
