Assessment Instructions

Students are to write a detailed “article analysis” that seeks to analyse, comment on, and critique the selected article and the author’s point of view. This analysis must use subject content and research to support claims.

The purpose of writing an article analysis is to demonstrate that students can apply the ideas in the international business field and demonstrate critical thinking abilities.

The student’s analysis will include three key components:

1. A summary of the article’s main points

2. The evidence that the article puts forward.

3. The relationship to current issues in the International Business field

Students will be required to apply two (2) key theories/models in your analysis of the article from the core themes (International Business/Globalisation, Strategic Directions, Global Monetary Environment, Trade, Investment, and Foreign Ownership) covered in the subject so far and the contents of the article.
