Develop a WHS action plan, including strategies for monitoring and review.

Ensure that your plan includes monitoring of hazard, incident, and injury reporting processes to meet legislative requirements and to inform future prevention strategies. Make sure it includes and evaluation of WHS recordkeeping policies and procedures for compliance with legislative requirements.

Task 2

Review the approach to monitoring workplace compliance with WHS procedures. There are two stages to this project.

Stage One: For each of the following points, identify at least three strengths and make one recommendation for improvement.

Write a report detailing your findings, ensuring that you cover the following:

• How is WHS information managed and recorded?

• How are WHS participative requirements managed?

• How is risk management processes managed?

• How is WHS training managed?

• How is continuous improvement managed for WHS?

Stage Two: Identify a WHS training need and, over a six-week period, implement a solution and monitor and report on the outcomes.

Task 3

Develop a workplace procedure for conducting a simulated emergency situation, e.g. a fire drill or a lockdown.
