Part 1 Investigate a community issue where a person, organization or group of people are advocating for the rights of a homelessness persons or the change of a government policy or legislation. As part of this assignment you are required to provide evidence of the following: - Diary notes recording how you have consulted with members of the client group and/or community to identify issues and concerns. - Minutes of a meeting to demonstrate that you have facilitated 1 formal meeting with the client or client group or community to develop strategies for action. part 2: You are now to analyze the situation in Part 1 and write a summary of what the advocates want to change and why. How will this change benefit the community or the disenfranchised group? Who are the stakeholders? Are human rights violations occurring? b) Develop an action plan for your analysis that uses systems advocacy. Utilise resources on E- Learn including the SMART process to develop the strategy. Remember also to develop an evaluation tool because feedback and improvements make for a more successful implementation.
