You will reflect on the process of a family strengths conversation considering the four foundational pillars and eight core values of strengths-based nursing and primary health care.There are two options for you to base your write up about:Everyone will participate in a family strengths conversation as a learning activity during the module 3 workshop with a peer. You can use this conversation to critique the conversation and co-construct the wellbeing plan with your peer if you choose this option, orreview a recorded family strengths conversations conducted by Dr Elisabeth Coyne RN PhD to critique the conversation and construct the wellbeing plan for the client in the recorded interview (conversation).   
These two options will be explained further at the workshop.

  • To successfully complete this assessment task, you will need to achieve three tasks: 
  • Provide a brief critique of how the nurse engaged in a family strengths conversation 
  • Write a summary of the strengths of the client and their family discovered through the family strengths conversation,   
  • Develop a Child and Family Wellbeing Plan – used to create an accessible plan that can be given to the child, young person or family and used to set and track progress toward shared goals. 
  • This task requires that you present your work in three parts: 
  • Response to task 1  
  • Response to task 2 
  • completed Child and Family Wellbeing Plan.
