2) Model the basic entity of your system by an Entity Relationship Diagram for the school scenario. You must identify minimum 2 actors - one for a pupil and one for a subject and link these two tables together using a suitable field
3) Convert your logical design (ERD) into a physical design by creating tables and insert some necessary records 4) Using some SQL query to demonstrate you can do the needed data access and information retravel.
Scenario
A local secondary school in Luton is looking to develop a new database system that stores details on pupils, staff, and the subjects that pupils take. The pupil can be identified by a unique student number, pupil should have first name, surname, address and postcode as property; The staff should have a unique staff number, first name, surname in the profile; the subject can be identified by a unique subject code, subject name and a cross-reference to the student ID who is taking that subject.
The basic function of the system should be able to answer question involves both pupils and subjects or pupils and staff, staff, pupils and the subjects.
