How

Conditions for Assessment

  • Please make arrangements with your assessor at least one week prior to the assessment due date if you feel you require special allowance or allowable adjustment to this task.

  • You must attend a minimum of 85% of your classes for the duration of this course for your assessment to be observed and assessed.

    • Failure to meet this requirement will require students to attend an interview with the trainer/assessor before the assessment is accepted.

    • Failure to attend will result in the assessment not being accepted.

    • You will be issued a result of NYS (Not Yet Satisfactory), and a resubmission will not be afforded.

  • An approved ELS, Medical Certificate, or Special Consideration will indemnify a student from the 85% attendance requirement within the parameters of the approved document.

  • You must submit the assessment by the due date.

    • Failure to do so will result in a DNS (Did Not Submit) result, which can only be overturned by an approved Extension of Time, Special Consideration, or Equitable Learning Plan provisions.

    • Assessments deemed DNS will not receive a resubmission.

  • You must complete all the actions listed in the observation checklist to the standard described in Section B to be deemed satisfactory in this assessment.

  • Please ensure your full name, preferred name, and student number is written on the student version of this assessment task.

  • You must submit all assessment evidence as instructed. Your assessor will assess the documentation you provide.

  • You will receive an S (Satisfactory) or NYS (Not Yet Satisfactory) result for this assessment.

    • If you receive an NYS result, you will receive feedback and one (1) resubmission opportunity.

    • The result achieved in the resubmission will be held as the final result.
