The purpose of this task is to enable learners to demonstrate a critically reflective overview of their placement experience or their own experience working within a Human Service Organisation (HSO). This assessment task requires you to complete the weekly questions.

• Part A: covers weekly topics 2-6. You will submit this at the start of week 7 to then receive formative feedback before completing the second part.

• Part B: covers weekly topics 7-11.

• In Part A you are also required to provide a brief introductory description of the HSO and the relevant program you participated in.

• The reflective writing needs to be critical, i.e., not just a summary of an experience, but rather a deeper reflective analysis of that experience (discussing both the positive and negative aspects). The assignment also requires that you relate this experience to relevant literature sources (e.g., peer-reviewed, or grey literature) for that topic. Broadly speaking, this may require that you compare some aspect of your experience with how similar experiences are discussed in academic literature, or that you identify specific challenges or opportunities associated with the experience you are describing.

• You are also required to demonstrate an understanding and application of ethical principles relevant to each of the weekly topic questions and how the relevant ethical frameworks apply to the profession and relevant practice approaches.
