Assignment Task

Introduction

For my research, I will be using the dataset Local Law 159 of 2019. This dataset has 746 rows and 23 columns. I want to explore this dataset and try to see if there is any correlation between vacate orders, evictions, and homeless serviices by boroughs. I would like to see Which borough has the most to least of these issues.The goal of the Department of Housing Preservation and Development is to support diverse and vibrant communities as well as high-quality, reasonably priced housing across the city. They achieve this through upholding building and resident safety and health, fostering opportunity for New Yorkers through affordable housing, and involving New Yorkers in the creation and maintenance of neighborhood variety and strength.

My main focus will be on the borough variable. I want to take a look at how many vacate orders have been passed in each borough, the type of orders, and by which agency.
