• Select the appropriate tools and features used to create and edit vector graphics in the Illustrator interface

• Transform graphic objects with a variety of tools, brushes, effects, filters and colour

• Apply vector drawing techniques to enhance illustrations, type and graphics

Instruction

• Apply a 3pt stroke to the text and paint the stroke with the saved tint, making sure that the fill of the text is just the text color, not the tint. Save a PDF

• Select the Ellipse tool in the Tools panel and create a circle on the artboard. Select a swatch from the Fill color in the Control panel. Create a pattern out of the circle you drew. 

• Apply the pattern to the star shape behind the text.
