You are the educational leader of the infant and or toddler room at an early childhood education and care setting. A child in your room is one of the children in Babies: The movie (see Week 7 Greenbook). You have been asked to develop a document that explains the education and care program for the parents of the incoming infant or toddler (that you have chosen). You will need to explain the rationale for and implementation of:

  • Transitions (such as arrival and departure)

  • Routines (such as eating, sleeping and toileting)

  • Play and learning experiences (e.g. activities provided for the child)

  • Wellbeing (e.g. caregiving strategies, considerations, and programming to support wellbeing)

  • Responsiveness to diversity (e.g. considerations of culture, language, ability, family composition).
